Why Do Many Public Institutions๐ข Choose ZEP for Their Events? ๐ค
Why are events by public institutions important?
Every year, numerous public institutions host events to provide beneficial information to citizens and introduce new policies among various other purposes. However, given the sheer number of public institutions and their somewhat stiff image, itโs not always easy to translate these events into active participation from the public. Moreover, using national and local government budgets means that cost issues are also significant๐ฅฒ
Recently, several public institutions have been choosing ZEP for their events, so let’s explore why they choose ZEP and how they utilize it to make their events uniquely engagingโ

1๏ธโฃ Reasons Why ZEP is the Optimal Choice for Event Managementโ
๐ธ Cost Reduction in Operation and Infrastructure
When planning and operating events, one of the most critical factors for public institutions is budget, or rather, costs . ๐ธ Even simple events lasting 1-2 hours involve expenses for venue rental, calling in people, guiding, and managing them, to the point where no aspect is free from cost. However, with ZEP, you can replicate buildings and facilities identically to reality at a much lower cost! Moreover, by effectively utilizing ZEP’s host functionโ๏ธ, managing hundreds or thousands of participants becomes easier, thus saving on manpower and costs. More effective and cheaper than actual face-to-face events, there’s no reason not to use ZEP ๐ฅฐ
๐ฃ๏ธ Encouraging Participation through Smooth Interaction
Worried that participation rates drop because virtual events mean just staring at a screen?
Certainly, other video conferencing platforms like ZOOM and Google Meet can be used for virtual events. However, those platforms offer limited features designed primarily for meetings, making it difficult for participants to stay interested and often resulting in people merely connecting without truly participating ๐ฎโ๐จ
However, ZEP offers various features to encourage smooth interaction and active participation. Do you see the emojis below the picture? Using ZEPโs reaction features, you can laugh, cry, and applaud with people youโve never met before ๐
Ever felt the awkward atmosphere when meeting strangers at a face-to-face event? In ZEP, you can create your own avatar to communicate more comfortably with new people! You can poke each other by pressing keyboard Z, or dance by pressing number 0๐ชฉ
โน๏ธ Effective Information Delivery
The primary goal of public institutions holding events is to disseminate beneficial information to citizens and promote new information and policies. However, if the information isn’t effectively delivered, the event cannot be considered successful.
In ZEP, OX quizzes, escape room games, photo zones ๐ธ, and various other activities are available. Through these, citizens can double-check the policies and retain the information longer by engaging in fun games! When approaching character objects placed throughout the map, speech bubbles๐ฌ with situational and concept-matching content appear, allowing for the delivery of detailed information and tips!
2๏ธโฃ Real-life Examples of Public Institution Events Using ZEP
โ The Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service: The Secret Behind Attracting Over 1000 Participants
The Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service successfully introduced its role by creating a space based on Wonju City, where the main office is located.
Upon entering the HIRA building, you’re connected to an exhibition hall called HIRA LIBRARY, where approaching various objects on the desks brings up pop-ups like card news, cut-toons, YouTube videos๐๏ธ. These pop-ups showcase the diverse services provided by HIRA. They transform contents that ordinary citizens find difficult and boring into something simple and fun through objects!๐
Furthermore, events utilizing ZEP mini-games like crosswords, OX quizzes, and escape rooms๐น๏ธ were prepared. Participants had to actively search for related information to progress through the mini-games, allowing for the delivery of complex content in an easy and fun way!๐
โ The National Election Commission: Creating a Democracy School for Youth
In June last year, in time for the 8th National Simultaneous Local Elections, the National Election Commission created โMetaverse Election Worldโ on ZEP to promote election methods to youth.
The first floor of Election World houses classrooms and seminar rooms. In the classrooms, first-time voters can watch educational videos together, and in the seminar rooms, they can experience election-related exhibitions and the history of elections in South Korea through VR! ๐ถ๏ธ
Moving to the second floor, thereโs a space prepared to provide various election-related information. Desks, ballot boxes, kiosks, and other objects are installed in various forms, where approaching them can provide information on election campaigning, early voting, counting procedures, etc. The mascot of the National Election Commission, โBaruโ ๐ช, is placed throughout the space in avatar form. Approaching them allows access to a variety of election-related information.
The National Election Commission also conducted events using mini-games, among which the bridge-crossing game inspired by Squid Game received the hottest response๐ฅ. By having participants search for related information to progress in the game, it encouraged active and enthusiastic participation in an educational environment.
โ The Meteorological Administration: Hosting a Safe Tomorrow Campaign on ZEP
The Meteorological Administration created โEarthquake Volcano Islandโ to conduct an earthquake safety campaign. Upon entering the earthquake zone, you encounter objects connected to card news pop-ups containing earthquake evacuation guidelines, emergency texts , etc., providing a wealth of information related to earthquakes.
Next, the earthquake tsunami zone๐ and volcano zone๐ are available, each with spaces prepared for watching educational videos together. Even schools or institutions visiting as a group can sit and watch the videos individually. Additionally, card news pop-up objects provide accurate and detailed information on disaster alerts, evacuation guidelines, etc., for disasters like volcanic eruptions and tsunamis.
