SSG’s effort to lead an eco-life showcased in ‘Captain Ssuk: Game Changer’

This ‘Captain Ssuk: Game Changer’ event is an eco-friendly campaign conducted by SSG.com on ZEP. It was organized with the aim of highlighting the importance and methods of taking action to solve environmental problems. A notable feature is the use of ‘Environment Crisis Clock’ to intuitively express the urgency of environmental issues.

1️⃣ Cars can be eco-friendly too?! An environmentally conscious car race 🚕
The first stage is a car race. You have to select a car that is good for the environment and reach your destination within a set time.
When you choose a car, information about its carbon dioxide emissions appears. For example, hydrogen cars emit significantly less carbon dioxide compared to internal combustion engine vehicles, giving participants hints on which car to select for the environment!
2️⃣ Checking eco-life practices with an OX quiz ✏️
The second stage is an OX quiz. You must answer all 5 questions correctly within 2 minutes.
Questions are all related to eco-friendly practices, like whether paper tape should be removed and disposed of like regular tape from boxes. Along with the right answer, an explanation is provided.
Through this fun OX quiz, participants can reflect on whether they practice eco-friendliness in their daily lives and learn new facts to apply in the future.
3️⃣ Experience packaging 📦
The third stage is about experiencing packaging. In this mission, participants place items on a conveyor belt into packaging materials.
Participants can choose between a paper box, a plastic bag, or an albi bag for packaging. The albi bag, a unique delivery box from SSG.com, allows participants to directly see SSG.com’s environmental efforts.
By showcasing a brand’s unique story like this, it can stimulate participants’ curiosity and potentially lead to purchases.
4️⃣ Finding notes 🌳
The last, fourth mission, involves finding notes. In this mission, participants need to find 7 notes with eco-friendly habits written on them.
Participants can pick up notes dropped in the forest, read them, and gain various eco-friendly knowledge.
Through an entertaining game format, participants can learn about eco-friendly knowledge they weren’t aware of and reflect on their own habits!
🆙 Bonus! Picking up paper receipts 🧾
Additionally, there’s a bonus stage! This bonus mission involves picking up paper receipts dropped in a supermarket.
Participants aim to quickly pick up as many fallen paper receipts as possible. This bonus stage reveals that since 2020, SSG.com has shifted from paper order confirmations to mobile versions for online orders.
It demonstrates SSG’s efforts to reduce the use of paper receipts and promote eco-friendly and efficient electronic receipt usage.
